LIVESTRONG^® LS10.0E Elliptical

I purchased this elliptical after reading reviews and looking up ratings on top brands. I love the LIVESTRONG brand and the looks furthermore, any thing to support a good cause sign me up! I debated between the LS10.0 E and the LS13.0E after looking carefully at the two models I decided the best bang for my buck was with the 10.

I paid extra for white glove delivery the guys had it assembled in just over an hour. I am glad I paid for this service! This was purchased during the offer for the free floor mat and I'm glad I have it to protect my wood floors! I put this machine to use right away I did one mile on fat burn and then did 1.71 miles varying from fat burn and muscle tone!

I FEEL THE BURN IN ALL THE RIGHT PLACES! So happy I replaced my treadmill with hits item! It is quiet compared to a treadmill and takes up less space as well! It is much easier on my joints too! I also feel like I get a much better work out!!!!

Do not hesitate to purchase this item it's the best move I made!!!!

I just did my first workout after having it assembled by manufacturer, it's smooth, quiet and works wonderfully! Hopefully it continues to be that way, very pleased so far!

I purchased this product to replace an older NordicTrack I was using for some time. The Nordic was wearing out and my research began. I did not need a Gym quality machine, nor the gym quality price tag! So I started my research with a leading non-profit organization that shall remain nameless... They had a top rated model that was around $1300. After doing some research I found out that Johnson Fitness made that model, as well as the LiveStrong line of exercise equipment. Combine that recommendation with the purchase offers online and it was a "no brainer" to grab the LS10.0E.

Now the machine is exactly what I expected. It is a solid machine for my 200lb, 6'0" tall body. The first couple of uses produced some strange noises as the machine broke in, squeaks, clicks etc. These noises went away within the first week of use and were not alarming at all. The different programs make workouts varied and keep it interesting. The fan is somewhat useful, and the speakers for phones/MP3 etc are a nice touch. Overall if I had to do it again, I would buy this machine again. If you want to stand on one in person they are available in stores too.

Assembly: This took about 2 hours by myself. Well documented, easy to follow with all parts, (bolts, washers, nuts etc) sealed by step. Can be awkward with just 1 person, would recommend using 2 people.

Leveling: No issues here once on a solid floor. I had this on a foam mat to protect the carpet and together with the underlay cause instability during use. Removed the foam and the unit is solid.

Usage: Quiet and smooth. Good level of programs and features.

Other Comments:
There are two things I don't like about this elliptical. First is the heart rate monitor that works well when your hands are in the right position, unfortunately to get in this position neutrally while still moving causes the arms to collide with the handlebars. Secondly, the Livetrack™ fitness journal is not downloadable to a USB. It will keep it for life on the machine, but for anyone wanting to download and track in a spreadsheet, too bad. I made an assumption that it could do this with a USB port on board, but it is for firmware only. Hoping that a firmware update will include this feature that was on the previous model of ls10.0e.

I so pleased with this machine , smooth, quiet but paddles small and the back is open I find this unsafe.

The product takes a bit long to put together. Some areas it will frustrate you. All in all not a bad a workout machine. So far only had it for a few weeks but it will def work you out. You will enjoy it. You will sweat. You will get in better shape.

I bought the machine in April. At the beginning, it works very well and quiet. I like it and used it every evening. But after 10 days,the assistance level went backwards and then completely broke down. After one week, the technician changed the assistance motor. Right now it is ok, But I worry the quality. The warranty is one year. After one year, It's not easy and free to fix the problems!
