Best treadmill out there

We purchased this treadmill since both my husband and I are avid runners...me training for marathons and him training for the ironman. When I got pregnant I could no longer hit the roads in the dark. We did a lot of research before deciding on this model. It has EVERYTHING we could want. MUCH better than those models at the gym. The belt is extra long (great for my husband who is 6'4"), the iPOD doc keeps you motivated, and you can download and create workouts with the USB port. I LOVE it. It is user-friendly and I am sure I have not even touched on some of the other great things this treadmill can do. It was easy to assemble and def worth the extra money we spent on this model. I would recommend it for the SERIOUS runner. If you are just looking for a great workout this is a great treadmill but maybe more machine than you could use. I cannot wait to get some serious mileage on it.

Had it for a year and love it!

Awful

Upon delivery in March from Dick's Sporting Goods is was DOA, the incline motor didn't work. They finally fixed it a week later. Then in May the motor speeded up throwing my wife from the treadmill. Rapaired again in a week. Then a couple of weeks later it did the same thing, only my wife caught herself. Repaired again after a week and now the motor just slows to a crawl without any reason in the middle of a workout. I've had the incline motor, motor control board, wiring, and console controls replaced and it's still malfunctioning. We have a very clean, in home, workout room with climate control. What a piece of junk.

AWESOME TREADMILL

I think this is the best treadmill out there, regardless of price! I am a runner / bike rider so I'm all about conditioning. The LS 13.0T really shines when it comes to this sometimes "boring" aspect of your training routine.

I have used the interval programs, the 5K and 10K programs and find them realistic and challenging. This treadmill is an awesome training partner and offers features of treadmills costing significantly more.

I would DEFINITELY recommend this treadmill to anyone who is SERIOUS about training! Excellent value for the $$

Good machine for the price

This is the first treadmill I have ever purchased. I wanted to be sure I bought a quality product, as this treadmill is going to get regular use by 4-5 family members.

This machine is user friendly! I have a 10-year-old and a 12-year-old who can use it with ease.

I wish the fan was a little stronger, but ohter than that, I am happy with this purchase.

Great purchase!

I purchased the LS13.0T and although I've only had it for a few days, I love it! I need to read the instruction manual because it can be a little confusing to use the treadmill and save your workout history, but other than that, it is great! I had been running on a very old treadmill for years. I didn't realize how awful it was until I started running on the LS13.0T. It is a smooth run. I also love the heart rate monitor and calorie information provided. The workouts (e.g. 5K, 10K, cardio, etc.)are also great. Overall, I'm very pleased with the product.

Quality Treadmill

I'm writing this review because I cannot say enough good things about this treadmill and during my research I would have liked to seen more reviews.

I purchased this treadmill after hours and hours and hours of research and multiple visits to stores. I literally looked at every treadmill under $2000.

This treadmill is sturdier, smoother, and better built than ANY other treadmill I researched.

The control panel is high quality and does not have any cheap buttons or controls that are vulnerable to breaking or coming off (NordicTrack, Sole, etc. all have buttons). There is absolutely nothing about this treadmill that is cheap, flimsy, or not well built. It folds up very easily and saves space when not in use. HR monitor is great.

I'm 5'11 / 180 lbs and the motor has plenty of power to run the machine smoothly while at fast speeds or at high elevations.

The price is EXCELLENT for the quality of the product you get. You will not be disappointed.

The speakers are good. They are not a high quality stereo system, but have good sound and are fine for me. If you are a sound snob, they might not be adequate for you.

My only disappointment with the treadmill is that the front panel does not show a profile graph of the program you are doing.

BE WARNED! This tread mill is VERY VERY heavy and you should move it while STILL IN BOX to the exact spot it will sit. After unpacked, it's a nightmare to move keeping careful not to damage it. You will need 2-4 strong people to move the boxed treadmill.

Delivery was poor. The truck driver unloaded with a lift and the treadmill was on a palet. The driver refused to help get the palet out from under the treadmill once he placed it on the floor of my garage. Because of the weight, my boyfriend and I had a very, very difficult time getting it off the palet and flat on the garage floor. We made the mistake of opening it and then trying to move it into the gym piece by piece.

I'm big on quality and this treadmill is solid. Hope this helps.

Delivery service is terrible

Product great, delivery service is terrible. They claim that they will schedule a time and bring the machine inside your door. Unfortunately, they were 4 hours late, didn't evan call to notfiy us, and dropped the treadmill off streetside because the driver wasn't equipped to carry it inside. After trying to track the driver down for hours he eventually showed up and expected my wife to help him carry a 300lb machine inside. That was not going to happen, so he actually just left it outside leaning against a pole for several more hours until I was able to get home from work to move it. What a joke.

Easy set up

I've had a chance to use this treadmill for a few weeks now and have to say I love it. Best if 2 people are available to assemble; however, I was able to do it alone in a couple of hours. I really enjoy the multiple controls for speed and elevation. The belt is relatively quiet and the frame is solid. I've yet to utilize all the available functions on this machine but am looking forward to putting it to the test.

I have found no problems with the product but the problem I have is I had 3 parts damaged in shipping and 2 items not in pkg.

Also, it would be nice if the product came pre-siliconed.

A Good Quality Product

I feel like I'm running on a treadmill at the gym. Very sturdy. I was surprised at how loud the speakers got without distortion. It really gets me pumped up during my workout. The only negative that I've noticed so far is that I wish the plugin cord was longer but that is minor. I love this treadmill!

Impressed

My husband and I are fairly into running - logging anywhere from 25-50 miles a week on our treadmill in cold months. After weeks of research to replace our lower grade treadmill, the Livestrong 13.0 was the last we needed to try out. When we tested it, we were very impressed and knew this was the one for us. This treadmill is sturdy - does not shake or rattle at all. I am comfortable on my longer runs and feel like I am getting a great workout. It is also quiet enough to watch TV or listen to music without waking our son who is 2 rooms down. My husband is 6'4" and appreciates the longer deck. We have only begun to test out everything, but I can say I like it as much or more than the treadmills at our old gym. The ONLY thing I would improve so far is the power of the fan, but that is minor for us.

The other perk is my husband was able to assemble the treadmill in just around an hour - and it comes with everything you need to put it together. He said it's the easiest piece of our home gym he's put together. Thanks for making such an affordable, quality machine!

Sturdy treadmill for serious runner

I've put about 200 miles on the treadmill this month and I couldn't be more pleased. As a marathon runner without much free time, I need a dependable treadmill with a powerful motor and sturdy frame--The 13.0T fits the bill. As my first treadmill, I didn't want to spend more than $1500, and I'm glad that I didn't. The Sole F80 seemed to have a larger flywheel and thicker mat, but when I tested it, it was loud and rattled around over 8.0mph. The heart rate strap works great, and the handles are a nice bonus. Remember that they take a few seconds to register, and work better if your hands aren't completely dry. Setup is easy, but definitely a 2 man lift. I'm not into messing with the USB stick, but maybe Livestong will tie it in over WIFI soon?

Glad I shopped around

I have had this treadmill for three weeks and it is great! I have logged about 20 miles on it. The speakers work great for me to watch a show and run. Instantaneous speed and incline changes. My main reason for purchasing a treadmill was to preserve my post-surgical knee (compared to the impact of running outdoors). The deck has great cushion without being bouncy. Definitely beats out the NordicTrack I was eyeing.

Best treadmill out there....

We bough this treadmill after extensive research and running on store demo's....Actually had settled on a name brand consistently reviewed as best treadmill out there period, which retailed for just under 3K...then we saw this one at Dicks sporting goods....and Bingo its the same treadmill part for part except for logos....Again showing this foundations commitment to quality.,,and two bonus' it was like $500 cheaper then name brand and money to goes to this caring foundation....

This is one great treadmill

As a cyclist my legs get enough wear and tear so I was looking for a treadmill that had enough cushion and comfort. This one was the best I found. I was not able to use the ones at the gym because the surfaces are just too hard . They are also putting smaller treadmills in the gyms to compensate for more people, so the running space feels cramped. I love the room and the cushion and the feel of the livestrong treadmill. The price is fantastic. It is definitely worth it.

Very Impressed

It is always scary to spend a large amount of money on a piece of exercise equipment; wondering if you are making the right choice, with so many options out there. I researched many treadmills and chose the Livestrong 13.0 because it had all of the specs I was looking for, plus I liked that Lance Armstrong was endorsing it.

I began running again last year and competed in my first full marathon and now have the goal of qualifying for Boston. The roads are not safe to run on in Maine winters so I wanted a treadmill.

I am very impressed with how sturdy and compact the frame is. Barely budges at high speeds and the belt runs smooth. The motor is strong and flawless when changing speeds and inclines. I really like the added incline/speed buttons on the arm handles. There are just enough perks and I find there is more than enough features for the value.

I highly recommend this treadmill to anyone who wants an awesome treadmill for an awesome price. I made the right decision!

Love love love this treadmill

I recently had a baby and purchased this treadmill in order to lose the baby weight. My husband did all the reasearch on the treadmill and thought that this one would fit all of my needs as a runner. The treadmill itself is easy to put together. I managed to do it by myself with a baby. It has so many different features, I haven't used them all. I love this treadmill so much! It gives me that runners high and I feel like I could run all day.

Great Treadmill

This treadmill is wonderful. It is very comfortable to run on and I love the long length. I ordered this treadmill on a Friday evening and it was delivered the following Thursday!! That is faster than my local store would have been able to get a treadmill in for me that I would've then had to get from the store to my home. I would recommend this treadmill.

Life Changing

I purchased this treadmill for my office and put it right beside my desk so I would have to walk over it in order to use it.... Turns out it works great.... I find myself walking on it while I'm on phone calls and while I'm watching surveillance of my store. It's making me a healthier more fit person!

Great product
